Governing Body Operations Unit of Charleston Atlantic Presbytery

This unit is responsible for the development of the budget of the Presbytery each year, devising and maintaining systems of communication which enable relevant and timely information to flow between governing bodies and individuals; recommending to Council the number, date, date, and duration of Presbytery meetings; maintaining the Presbytery Manual of Administration Operations; overseeing all consultation involving Presbytery provided for in the Book of Order, the annual audit and review of Session records; biennial review of church registers; recommending responses of proposed amendments; and maintaining a relationship with Johnson C. Smith Seminary, Presbyterian Home of South Carolina, and the Brearly Home in Montreat, North Carolina. |
