PRESSING ONWARD

This is the name of the five year action plan that Charleston Atlantic Presbytery will use to guide our new initiatives for the period 2008-2013.  These action items have been developed with the help of local sessions, presbytery ministry units, commissioners to presbytery, presbytery staff, the executive committee, and the council during a period of discernment.  We now "press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”   (Phil 3:14)

CAP Action Plan

The purpose of the Council is to direct, coordinate and promote the programmatic work of the Presbytery. The Council shall organize itself into Ministry Units, task forces and committees as necessary to accomplish its work. The Council shall determine policy and assign responsibility relating to the work of any of its work groups.
